Guidance and Procedures to Safeguard and Protect Children in Sport Organisations

This deliverable will provide a comprehensive framework for child safeguarding within sport organisations. It will outline clear systems, roles, and step-by-step procedures to follow in cases of concern about a child’s safety or wellbeing. The guidance ensures transparent and fair processes for handling reports, offers access to advice and support, and promotes accountability across all levels of sport. It will serve as a practical reference for National Olympic Committees and Federations to implement effective child protection mechanisms.
